From messy spreadsheets to managed revenue.
Hostly started in 2022 after our founders lived the short-term rental problem themselves — juggling PriceLabs subscriptions, three cleaner phone numbers, an Airbnb inbox that wouldn't sleep, and a spreadsheet of manual price overrides that never quite matched the market.
We looked at the landscape and saw two extremes. On one side, bare-bones co-hosts who'd list a property on Airbnb and disappear. On the other, traditional property managers charging five-figure setup fees and locking owners into rigid two-year agreements.
There was no middle: no operator who did everything — full distribution, AI pricing, 24/7 guest support, cleaning, maintenance, compliance — with aligned economics. So we built one.
Today Hostly manages properties for owners across the US, Canada, UK, Portugal, Spain, and Colombia. Our AI pricing engine re-rates listings every hour. Our support team answers guest messages in under eight minutes, any time of day. And we still charge zero upfront — we earn when you earn, or we don't earn at all.
We're not trying to build the biggest rental management company. We're trying to build the one owners actually recommend to their friends.
